Job summary

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) invites applications for a Research Fellow to conduct systems neuroscience research under the Tsukasa Kamigaki lab. You will investigate brain mechanisms of executive function in ageing and psychiatric disease using mice, calcium imaging, optogenetics, and electrophysiology.

Qualifications include a PhD in systems neuroscience, strong data analysis skills (MATLAB, Python, R), and demonstrated ability to collaborate with international partners.

Qualifications

PhD in systems neuroscience or related field.
Independent research problem-solving and collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams.
Proficiency in English for manuscripts and collaboration with international partners.
Programming and data analysis in MATLAB, Python, or R.

Responsibilities

Conduct a research project integrating neuroscience technologies, including neurophysiological measurements and data analyses.
Author research manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals and collaborate with international partners.
Collaborate with international research partners and contribute to multidisciplinary projects.
