Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate to perform neurophysiology tests, including electromyography and electrophysiology. Responsibilities include explaining tests to patients and preparing them adequately. Candidates must have a degree in Biological, Life, or Biomedical Sciences and relevant experience in an Operating Theatre. A keen interest in neurophysiology is preferred.

Job description

You will perform neurophysiology tests as directed by the immediate supervisor. These include electromyography and electrophysiology intraoperative. You will explain the various tests/procedures performed on patients and their relatives. You will also prepare patients adequately for the various tests/procedures (which include a simple medical history taking).

Requirements

• Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences
• Relevant experience in Operating Theatre would be preferable
• Preferably keen in neurophysiology such as Somatosensory Evoked Potentials test (SSEP), Motor Evoked Potential (MEP), Electromyogram (EMG), Electroencephalogram, electroencephalograph, or electroencephalography (EEG) and general spine surgeries
