A technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to bolster their infrastructure and cloud security. The qualified candidate should have expertise in network security technologies, specifically with firewalls like FortiGate and familiarity with cloud security services. Responsibilities include designing security solutions, managing firewalls, and collaborating with IT teams for a secure architecture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and firewall technologies.
• Experience with FortiGate firewalls and FortiSASE.
• Familiarity with CDN and WAF platforms (Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their networking/security components.
• Security certifications such as CCNP Security or Fortinet NSE are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize firewalls (preferably FortiGate) and VPN infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain FortiSASE for secure remote access and cloud-delivered security.
• Integrate and manage CDN and WAF solutions such as Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, and Akamai.
• Collaborate with IT operations and DevOps teams to ensure secure network architecture.
• Monitor and respond to network-related security incidents and alerts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
