About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our team in Singapore. This role involves deploying cybersecurity solutions, providing professional services, and supporting technical teams and customers. Candidates with solid technical foundations and a keen interest in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. Entry-level applicants may be considered for the Associate Engineer position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and upgrade cybersecurity products, including implementation and configuration
  • Provide professional services and manage customer expectations and timelines
  • Offer practical solutions based on customer requirements
  • Conduct product training for customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Independently perform installations and configurations using product documentation
  • Pursue technical certifications and continuous upskilling in relevant technologies
  • Develop subject matter expertise and support knowledge transfer to maintenance teams
  • Assist sales and support teams with technical matters such as product features, implementation planning, and tender compliance
  • Maintain compliance with internal information security standards

Requirements

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, IS, or Cybersecurity preferred (entry-level candidates may be considered for Associate Engineer role)
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies including Firewalls, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, DNS, Email Security, SIEM, Virtualization, Containers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps, IAM, Endpoint Security, and tools like CyberArk Conjur
  • Proficient in troubleshooting network/system issues (e.g., routing, NAT, VLAN, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, AD, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, SSH)
  • Passionate about cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence
  • Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, CyberArk CDE, Thales, Trellix, ArcSight, SailPoint, CISSP, CREST, OSCP
  • Programming/scripting skills in Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell are a plus
