Job Summary:
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure while supporting continuous service delivery to customers. This role involves proactive monitoring, network lifecycle management, incident resolution, and strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain core network infrastructure (routers, switches, transmission systems) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Manage network lifecycle activities, including capacity planning, preventive maintenance, migration, and decommissioning.
  • Perform risk assessment, POC testing, and strategy planning for network enhancements.
  • Handle incident and outage reports, ensuring timely submission of RFOs and monthly reports.
  • Support NOC and internal engineering teams to meet SLAs and service delivery targets.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure ITSM process compliance.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams on new network planning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network operations or engineering.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience in ISP or large-scale enterprise network environments is an advantage.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
  • Able to work off-hours when necessary.
