We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join the network security team to ensure that our infrastructure and networks are properly protected. The role involves designing, coordinating, and implementing security controls, auditing configurations, and designing networks in a hybrid compute environment. A successful candidate will have an attention to detail and the ability to understand the impact of their changes on the network and associated services.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional security, technology, and trading teams to design and deploy innovative solutions that enhance system integrity and trading performance.
2. Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical trading infrastructure to ensure resilient and scalable market operations.
3. Implement strategies to reduce network risks using micro-segmentation, port-based security, and other innovative methods.
4. Evaluate, diagnose, and implement network security solutions such as firewalls, network detection and response, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPN concentrators to improve security and enable reliable remote access.
5. Leverage automation, AI, and other emerging technologies to enhance detection and response to security events.
6. Analyze network packet captures to investigate security incidents and identify areas for improvement.
7. Seek opportunities to automate tasks and streamline security operations for efficiency and effectiveness.

What we’re looking for:

• Passion for solving complex problems that enable secure global connectivity for new business opportunities.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting advanced security systems that protect networks from emerging threats.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, client VPNs, SASE, NDR, and IDS solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and coding to automate processes and reduce repetitive work.
• Solid understanding of TCP, UDP, IP, the OSI model, and security protocols across layers 1-4 and 7.
• Willingness to work on-call, including nights and weekends if necessary.
• Continuous drive to innovate and improve security solutions.
• Effective communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for cross-functional teams.
