Location: Tai Seng Exchange Headquarters

WORK TIMINGS

Shift pattern: Day shifts Only - 7.00am to 5.00pm or 11.00pm to 8.00pm

The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure and systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance. This role involves real-time network surveillance, troubleshooting incidents, and escalating issues as needed to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network performance and availability through NOC tools and dashboards.
  • Respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and take corrective actions.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting of network devices, servers, and connectivity issues.
  • Escalate critical issues to Level 2/3 support or vendors following defined procedures.
  • Maintain incident logs and prepare performance or outage reports.
  • Assist in implementing network upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Ensure 24x7 coverage through shift rotation.
  • Adhere to SLA and incident response timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • No prior experience is okay.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts (including nights and weekends).
