Job description

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage enterprise load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix ADC, NGINX Plus, HAProxy) and application gateways
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower)
• Implement secure routing and switching solutions, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Design and maintain cloud network security solutions (Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall, Google Cloud Armor)
• Implement Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), including tuning rules and monitoring logs
• Apply network security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS, 802.1x) and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions
• Conduct security hardening and perform security assessments on network devices
• Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN solutions (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Cisco SDA)
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
• Experience with VPN and remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect, Palo Alto GlobalProtect)
• Knowledge of network automation and orchestration using scripting (Python, Ansible)
