Job Description

• Provide 24/7 rotational standby support (L2), ensuring timely response and adherence to all assigned fault cases and SLA requirements.
• Troubleshoot network issues, escalating complex cases beyond L1 scope and following through from incident opening to closure with accurate and prompt ticket updates.
• Perform daily call assignments during office hours, including occasional weekend or after-hours duties as required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including hardware checks and inventory management, while supporting operational tasks assigned by the Ops Manager.
• Maintain and enhance technical competency by obtaining relevant certifications to support key customers and evolving operational needs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in relevant field
• Fundamental knowledge of Cisco and Alcatel switches, routers, and wireless technologies.
• Basic proficiency in network troubleshooting across Layer 2 and Layer 3.
• Foundational understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Basic server administration skills in a support or operations environment.
• Willingness to perform rotational standby duties, after-hours support, and obtain required technical certifications.
