Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Singapore is looking for an experienced IT Network Engineer to support the deployment and operations of network infrastructure. You will assist in the installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing of network systems. A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related fields is required, along with at least 2 years of experience and CCNA certification. Strong skills in network troubleshooting and project management are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in IT network deployment and maintenance.
• Must have at least CCNA or equivalent certification, advantage to have CCNP.
• Working experience in administering in Checkpoint, Palo Alto.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the deployment and operations of network infrastructure.
• Assist in installation, monitoring, troubleshooting and testing of network systems and solutions.
• Monitor and configure network components to ensure security.
• Resolve network incidents.
• Ensure that network activities are documented appropriately and in compliance with the required procedures and standards.
• Familiar with core networking technologies and trends, network standards and network routing protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT network deployment and maintenanceis preferred.
• Must have at least CCNA or equivalent certification, advantage to have CCNP.
• Requiredto standby on a rotational on-call or shift basis for out of office hours.
• Working experience in administering in Checkpoint, Palo Alto is necessary.
• Possess IT network project management skill with technical knowledge in IT network.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable
• Strong network troubleshooting skill will be an advantage.
