Job summary

A prominent consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to manage wired and wireless network infrastructure and support Data Centre operations. The role involves troubleshooting network access issues and enhancing service delivery. Ideal candidates will have experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Python, strong customer service skills, and a solid background in network operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in scripting and programming with network automation tooling on Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitLab is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage wired and wireless network access infrastructure; and support Data Centre network operations.
• Provide Support for network routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers, AAA servers and encryptors.
• Respond to tickets related to network access and performance issues and manage Service tickets to resolve client issues.

Location: AMK/ Bukit Merah

Responsibilities

• Manage wired and wireless network access infrastructure; and support Data Centre network operations
• Provide Support for network routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers, AAA servers and encryptors
• Respond to tickets related to network access and performance issues and manage Service tickets to resolve client issues and elevate to L2 and L3 issues if necessary
• Troubleshoot and assist with root‑cause analysis of incidents
• Support routine automation tasks to ensure compliance for secure configuration, configuration backup management and routine firmware upgrades/updates
• Track network equipment support lifecycle, procure and support refresh activities
• Manage Network Comms Rooms at sites and Data Centre
• Inventory and Documentation

Requirements

• Experience in scripting and programming with network automation tooling on Ansible, Python, Terraform, GitLab is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills
