Job summary

A leading IT services provider in Singapore is seeking a network operations professional to support and manage various network devices and security operations. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, handling incidents, and collaborating with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure and make quick decisions. Competitive working hours are 8am – 6pm with rotational standby.

  • Support and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Perform day-to-day network and security operations.
  • Respond to network incidents based on severity level.
Job description

Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection, VPN gateways, proxies, Wire LAN controllers, Network Access Control appliance, load balancers, Network Management system, and other network devices.

Perform day-to-day network and security operations including monitoring and managing network infrastructure.

Respond to network incidents according to severity level and meet service level requirements.

Handle high pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick decisions to resolve issues.

Adhere to incident management workflow and procedure.

Maintain and update network diagrams, configuration records, inventory, RMA records and incident reports.

Provide timely and accurate reports on network performance, capacity, planning and incident analysis.

Work closely with third‑party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs and other service providers.

Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of network and security systems.

Working hours

8am – 6pm (rotation standby) (rotational standby)
