Summary of Job Role
To design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network to support business activities of TPFC and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade and administer Alcatel Lucent wired and wireless network AP, controllers and management modules.
- Manage and administer Peplinks, Radware Network Load Balancers, HP Aruba ClearPass 802.1x authentications.
- Perform network troubleahooting issue. Identification and resolution, network devices firmware patching, bug fixes and upgrading.
- Perform regular network performance monitoring to identify any possible performance issue.
- Doxument and maintain all network configurations, setup and inventory and SOP.
- Work closely and provide technical support to other IT teams as required.
- Assist Head IT Infrastructure and Operaions to implement and carry out regular disaster recovery procedures.
- Assist Head, IT Infrastructure and Operations to manage and monitor vendor managed services and ensure SLAs are met in accordnance with the underpinning contracts.
Job Requirements
- Advance Diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering, and/or 2-4 years or more equivalent work experience.
- Possess any of the certifications: CCNA or Alcaltel Lucent certified network specialist.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management and technical support of day-to-day, onsite wired and wireless network setup in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, BGP and OSPF) and network architecture principles.
- Experience and / or knowledge in network configuration in virtualized infrastructure and monitoring tools.
- Experience in cloud network concepts and technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- 2 years of experience and / or good knowledge in incidents and service request management within ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in monitoring and managing support issues at site to identify patterns and common issues thus to improve overall reliability and quality of services.
- Understand IT technical concepts and able to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer facing qualities with flexible, can-do attitude.
- Strong people and vendor management and task oriented.
