A leading international IT consulting firm is looking for a skilled Network Engineer with proficiency in Japanese to provide technical support and troubleshoot networking issues. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from MYR 13,000 to 15,000. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with Cisco products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network engineering, particularly with Cisco products.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in the LAN Switching domain as part of the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
  • Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching issues in large enterprise networks.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Support Cisco switching products, including Catalyst and Nexus series switches.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, keeping all relevant teams and systems updated.
  • Utilize internal troubleshooting tools.

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer proficient in Japanese to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This permanent role offers a competitive salary ranging from MYR 13,000 to 15,000 per month. Our client is one of Malaysia's leading international IT consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support in the LAN Switching domain as part of the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
  • Analyze, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching issues in large enterprise networks.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Support Cisco switching products, including Catalyst and Nexus series switches.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, keeping all relevant teams and systems updated.
  • Utilize tools such as JIRA, Salesforce CRM, CSONE, Cisco One Search, and internal troubleshooting tools.
  • Resolve TAC cases with minimal guidance, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
