Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Network Automation Engineer / Application Developer to support automation initiatives across network provisioning and monitoring.

The role requires scripting in Python and JavaScript, knowledge of UNIX and Windows environments, and familiarity with ReactJS, HTML, and CSS. You will develop and test programs, integrate with APIs, and provide BAU support including night shifts during deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Javascript, UNIX script, SQL etc
• Familiar with web applications technologies (ReactJS, HTML, CSS etc.)
• Able to develop in both Unix and Windows environment.
• Possess basic knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, SNMP etc)
• Self-driven and ability to work as a team and independently

Responsibilities

• Assist network team in achieving automation initiatives in areas such as network provisioning and monitoring.

• Manage and maintain network monitoring systems and tools.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Understand and Integrate with system API
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic and coding changes.
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
• Provide BAU support and enhancements to the existing system
• Provide 24x7 on call support
• Other duties as assigned

Working Hours :-

• Mon to Fri (9 to 6PM), however may require to work beyond office hours if need
• Night support needed during deployment
