Job summary

AGGASYS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on IT/Systems Delivery professional in Singapore to rack and stack IT equipment, install and configure Windows, Linux, and VMware, and collaborate with the team to meet delivery milestones.

The role requires designing and implementing LAN/WAN/VPN networks and configuring security appliances (firewalls, routers, switches). Candidates should have 3–10 years in related roles and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be able to design/configure and provide consultation for Cisco switches, routers and Fortigate firewall.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience in server implementation/operation/administration for VMware/Storage/Redhat/Windows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack IT equipment.
• Install and configure OS (Windows, Linux, VMware).
• Work with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones.
• Coordinate with back-line support or vendors to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the System Delivery team.
• Carry out other technical duties as required.
• Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and manage security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches.

• Rack/stack IT Equipment

• Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor's support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.
• Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Must be able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall
• 3 - 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess initiative with positive working attitudes
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance.
