Job summary

Avensys Consulting PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deliver enterprise-grade software solutions in Singapore.

You will translate requirements into robust code, implement unit and integration tests, and collaborate with analysts and QA teams to ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards. The role emphasizes strong English communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, with opportunities to work on multiple client projects

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of working experience in developing and delivering application software.
• Possess relevant system development / maintenance experience using .NET-related technologies.
• Must have 2 years of Cloud Development Experience majorly AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Analyse process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes.
• Make changes to configurable items, covering configuration management planning and controls.
• Develop unit test package, execute tests & document results to ensure quality.
• Assist in integration/system testing, UAT & implementation activities to fix problems/bugs.
• Investigate reported problems and initiate amendments & testing.
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design.
• Ensure codes comply with security guidelines.
• Work with team lead to ensure designs meet architecture standards.
• Participate in requirements gathering with Business Analysts.
• Participate in peer reviews to improve project quality.
