Qualifications

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible to perform X‑Ray/FPI inspection on aircraft engine components.
  • To interpret work instructions and to make decisions on acceptance / rejection of parts.
  • Able to work from Written Instructions, Operation Sheets, Standard Operation Procedures, Engineering Drawings and Quality Procedures using X‑Ray/FPI NDT methods on aircraft engine components to locate discontinuities.
  • Setup and calibrate non‑destructive testing equipment and perform daily system check.
  • Able to establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Use NDT inspection methods to ensure maximum quality of product, detect discontinuities and review test orders to determine type of test required, test procedures, and part acceptability criteria.
  • Apply acceptance criteria in accordance with applicable specifications, standards, operation sheets and evaluate results accurately.
  • Complete reports, if requires initiate non‑conformance report on part that do not meet requirements.
  • Participate in CIP projects, audit preparations and process reports for corrective action.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
  • Comply with all company safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
  • Perform other job related tasks as assigned by the management.
Requirements
  • Education Requirements: GCE ‘O’ / “A” Level, Nitec / Technical Certificate or equivalent / Diploma.
  • Experience Level Requirements: 2 – 4 years and Possess NAS 410 / EN 4179 or equivalent certification on X‑Ray (RT) / FPI / MT.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, good communications skills.
