Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES' Biomedical Data Hub invites an experienced NDCT Associate Project Manager to translate clinical and research needs into data curation specifications. You will coordinate cross-institutional teams, improve processes, and support day-to-day operations in a data-driven environment.

You will work with clinicians, researchers, data owners, and technical colleagues to ensure data quality, provenance, and AI-readiness, including genomics and omics datasets.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in life sciences/biomedical field and experience with medical/healthcare data
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and translate clinical and biomedical data into actionable requirements
• Excellent written and spoken English communication across clinical, research, and technical audiences
• Detail-oriented, process-driven with strong organisational skills
• Basic financial literacy including benefit/cost analysis

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-institutional data curation projects involving clinical, genomics, and biomedical data
• Engage clinicians, researchers and data owners to understand data provenance and intended use
• Translate requirements into actionable guidance for data curators and technical teams
• Support curation of structured and unstructured clinical data and omics datasets
• Scope data curation projects and plan required resources and timelines
• Evaluate new technologies and advocate adoption where appropriate (e.g., AI data curation)
• Develop strategies for data curation, standardisation, cleanup and performance monitoring
• Establish SOPs, KPIs and measurements for data quality and productivity
• Identify recurring data quality issues and propose practical resolutions
• Collaborate with data stewards to meet research objectives
• Keep pace with evolving data standards and best practices
