Launched in January 2025 as a collaboration between the National Research Foundation, NUS, and NTU, National GRIP integrates the strengths of leading incubators to bridge the gap between scientific research and commercialisation for autonomous universities and research institutions across Singapore. The programme is committed to training up to 300 startup teams by 2028 and fostering over 150 spin‑offs by 2030, with S$50 million in multi‑year support.

As the National GRIP Programme Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of this nation‑wide initiative. You will administer and coordinate the programme’s activities, support startup teams through various phases of venture creation, and facilitate collaboration across universities, research institutes, and industry partners.

Operational Management
  • Supervise the Programme Administrator to ensure smooth operations across administration, finance, procurement, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage vendor contracts, and procurement processes in compliance with institutional policies.
  • Manage programme budget, reporting, and grant management (submissions and claims)
Stakeholder Engagement & Liaison
  • Act as the primary point of contact between instructors, mentors, startup teams, faculty, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate mentor assignments, track engagement, and resolve issues to maintain productive relationships.
Programme Development & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor startup team progress, capture feedback from participants and stakeholders, and propose enhancements to curriculum and delivery.
  • Support the Programme Director in refining programme content, structure, and resources to meet evolving startup ecosystem needs.
Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in program administration or management with a proven track record overseeing multi‑phase or multi‑stakeholder programmes, preferably within startup ecosystems, innovation programmes, or tech commercialisation platforms.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
