Job summary

The National Institute of Education invites applications for a Research Assistant on a 6-month contract in the Natural Sciences & Science Education Department. The successful candidate will support the multiplexed nanosensor project, handling optical assays, data analysis, and lab operations in a BSL-2 environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assay & Nanosensor Testing: conduct optical assays and measure responses.
BSL-2 Laboratory Operations: perform biofluid prep and routine assays with BSL-2 protocols.
Data Analysis & Protocol Optimization: record and analyze datasets to support device optimization.
Venture & Clinical Integration: assist with translating bench data for venture design workshops.
Lab Maintenance: assist with reagents, inventory and biosafety compliance.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the PI.
