Job summary

Drum Tutor SG is seeking an enthusiastic drum instructor to teach and manage a large weekly student load across multiple outlets in Singapore.

You will prepare students for examinations, recitals, and performances; conduct engaging lessons for children aged 4 and up; and handle scheduling, enquiries, and payments. The role requires weekend availability and a passion for education.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree required; music-related qualifications are an advantage.
• Grade 5-8 in Drums is preferred; Piano as a secondary instrument is a bonus.
• Passionate about teaching and working with students of different ages.
• Willing to commit 5–6 days per week, including weekends.
• Flexible with scheduling and deadlines.
• Willing to be deployed to current and future outlets.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage approximately 35–60 students per week.
• Prepare students for grading exams, recitals, and performances.
• Conduct engaging lessons for children aged 4 years and above.
• Manage branch scheduling, student enquiries, and invoice payments.
• Update daily and weekly reports.
• Support ad-hoc drum events, performances, workshops, and engagements.

Job Description

• Teach and manage between approximately 35 to 60 students per week.
• Prepare students for grading examinations, recitals, and performances.
• Conduct engaging lessons for children aged 4 years old and above.
• Manage branch scheduling, student enquiries, and invoice payments.
• Update daily and weekly reports.
• Support ad-hoc drum-related events, performances, workshops, and engagements when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any field (Music-related qualifications are an advantage).
• Preferably certified Grade 5-8 in Drums (Piano as a secondary instrument is a bonus).
• Passionate about teaching and working with students of different age groups.
• Able to commit 5 to 6 day work week, including weekends.
• Flexible with scheduling and able to meet lesson and administrative deadlines.
• Willing to be deployed to current and future outlet locations.
