Job summary

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging music lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels (individual or group).
  • Teach fundamental music theory, instrument techniques, and performance skills.
  • Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with students’ needs and progress.
  • Monitor and track student development; provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
  • Prepare students for performances, assessments, or recitals when required.
  • Maintain a positive, nurturing, and disciplined learning environment.
  • Manage class schedules, attendance, and administrative records.
  • Support centre activities, events, and performances when needed.
  • Ensure instruments and teaching equipment are well-maintained and used safely.
