Job summary

Bounteous is seeking an experienced Murex Credit Risk/MLC Consultant based in Singapore to design, configure, and enhance credit risk functionalities within the Murex platform. You will implement limit structures, exposure calculations, and risk controls for a leading financial institution.

You will collaborate with risk managers, traders, and technology teams, performing impact assessments, supporting upgrades, and contributing to documentation and post-deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 Credit Risk and MLC (Murex Limits Controller).
• Proven expertise in configuring and supporting credit risk limits, exposures, and monitoring frameworks.
• Solid understanding of credit risk concepts including counterparty, settlement, issuer, and exposure management.
• Experience configuring MLC workflows, monitoring rules, and credit limit structures.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle processes and their impact on credit exposure calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Murex Credit Risk solutions within the MLC module.
• Implement and maintain credit limit structures, exposure calculations, and monitoring frameworks.
• Configure counterparty, issuer, settlement, and country risk controls within Murex.
• Collaborate with risk managers, traders, and tech teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Analyze credit risk processes and suggest enhancements for efficiency and risk visibility.
• Support limit monitoring and approval workflows deployments.
• Investigate and resolve production issues related to credit risk and limits management.
• Assist with Murex upgrades, migrations, and enhancement initiatives.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-deployment support.
• Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation.
