Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is hiring a Fab10 Shift Technician in Singapore to support maintenance, safety and continuous operation of vacuum systems, pumps and abatement equipment.

You will supervise shift techs, coordinate maintenance activities and serve as the main liaison between FAB personnel and Fab Support for production issues. • Intermediate PC skills including MS Office.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise equipment performance and address issues timely.
• Direct shift team in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Develop technical skills of Fab10 team (pumps, chiller, abatement).
• Serve as main contact between FAB personnel and Fab Support on production issues.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.

Responsibility:

• Proactively promote safety priorities and standards


• Maintain vigilance and bring up workplace safety concerns


• Proactively supervise the performance of equipment and address any issues in a timely manner


• Direct shift equipment team in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance


• Demonstrate a solid grasp of all Fab Support duties and able to assist in developing the technical skills of your team. Focus on Pumps, Chiller and Abatement systems.


• Perform administrative and supervisory duties for shift techs: attendance, staffing, and reviews


• Serve as the main point of contact between the FAB personnel and the Fab Support group regarding Production issues


• Accept responsibility for all equipment, process, and personnel issues during shift


• Ensure coverage as needed to maintain shift needs


• Coordinate shift contribution to TPM activities


• Foster an environment for other Fab10 employees to resolve problems, give feedback and express concern


• Assist with equipment installs, tests and commissioning


• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.


• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Requirements:

• A relevant Diploma in any Engineering courses OR equivalent working experience


• Strong mechanical competence with the ability to understand and repair mechanical systems


• Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability


• Ability to use schematic diagrams to solve systems to components level


• Intermediate PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Suite


• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks


• Time management, organization, and prioritization skills


• Follows procedures and work with minimal supervision


• Able to perform 12-hour work shift


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency androle‑appropriate AI‑literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
