Job summary

Textron Inc. seeks an MRO Intern (Tooling Agent - Hangar) to join our team in Singapore. You will secure, monitor, and maintain shop tools, manage hardware and supplies, and assist with building maintenance as needed.

You will repair tools and GSE, route outside-service work, manage non-inventory POs, and ensure calibration and shelf-life compliance for chemicals and solvents. Requires related studies and knowledge of tooling systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance tools system preferred.
• Ability to assure simple calibration accuracy with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure, monitor, and maintain shop tools.
• Maintain, replenish, and order shop hardware and supplies.
• Assist with building maintenance duties as directed.
• Repair tools and ground support equipment.
• Control non-inventory purchase system and issue non-inventory purchase orders for maintenance and parts departments.
• Route tools and equipment requiring outside services to proper vendor.
• Maintain file of Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Stock shelves.
• Procure the special consumables that can’t be acquired through the stores.
• Ascertain tools are within calibration dates and send out for calibration prior to expiration dates.
• Ascertain chemical/solvents/adhesives are in shelf life.
• Assist in other areas as required
