A specialized animal care facility in Singapore is seeking an MRI-trained technician. You will work in a collaborative environment focusing on patient care and veterinary imaging. Responsibilities include setting up MRI algorithms and patient safety, with opportunities for hands-on training. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and be ready for weekend on-calls. This role requires a commitment of 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
We are seeking an MRI‑trained technician to be a part of our specialist and emergency hospital for animals. We are one of only two veterinary hospitals to have a 1.5T high field MRI in the country.
We are a friendly team, with a strong focus on teamwork, empathy, and respect for our colleagues. You will be working in the imaging department. Collaboration opportunities will be plenty with a team of specialist clinicians, experienced vets, and nurses to provide excellent patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to have an active role in shaping Singapore’s referral and emergency services in the vet community. Hands‑on training to work with animals will be provided. You will be working in the imaging department and will assist with CT and ultrasounds as well.
The facility is equipped with an in‑house laboratory, 2 digital radiography rooms, 3 fully equipped/state‑of‑the‑art surgical suites, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, ICU telemetry, 3 dog wards, a cat ward, an exotics/birds ward, rigid and flexible endoscopy, 16 slice CT with 3D recon abilities, a brand new 1.5T GE MRI.
