Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering required.

• Strong knowledge of servo systems, PID tuning required.

THE COMPANY

Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Motion Control Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the Manager.

THE ROLE

The Motion Control Engineer is responsible for:

• Design and implement motion control systems including linear motors, rotary stages, and multi-axis platforms.
• Develop control algorithms for trajectory planning, feedback loops, and system optimization.
• Integrate hardware (encoders, actuators, servo drives) with software to achieve sub-micron positioning accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, repeatability, and reliability of motion systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering.
• Proven experience in motion control, preferably in the design of semi or fully automatic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of servo systems, PID tuning, and proficiency with motion controllers, PLCs, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.
