Now Hiring: Japanese Cuisine Cook (Modern Japanese Cook)

• Create beautiful Japanese classics sushi, sashimi, tempura, donburi, and more
• Work hand-in-hand with the Head Chef to keep service smooth, fast, and flawless
• Support and guide junior cooks, ensuring consistency in taste, prep, and presentation
• Monitor stock and assist with ordering to keep the kitchen operating without a hitch
• Champion kitchen hygiene and safety, no exceptions
• Lead operations during certain shifts, maintaining high standards even when senior chefs are off
• 2+ years of kitchen experience (bonus if it’s in Japanese cuisine)
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques & flavor balance
• The ability to stay calm, steady, and focused during rush hours
• Reliable, hands-on, and team-oriented
• Proud of your work and attentive to every detail
• Flexible with a 5- or 6-day workweek depending on service needs
• Location: Central Singapore
