Responsibilities

Perform RAN Preventive / Corrective maintenance work:

• Managing the daily operations and upkeep of RAN equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving network issues to maintain performance.
• Implementing updates and upgrades for RAN components.
• Monitoring and enhancing the RAN's efficiency and effectiveness.

Perform RF Testing & Troubleshooting:

• Perform RF testing and optimization for Outdoor 4G and in-building projects, with future 5G plans.
• Troubleshoot, design and plan RF network coverage using RF test tools (e.g., Spectrum Analyzer).

Perform SYSCON operations:

• Monitor and identify network failures, execute corrective actions, report and update customers, liaise with maintenance agencies and building owners, and assist in log retrieval.
• Service new UEs, update software, confirm failures, assist in tracking and remote wipe of lost UEs.
• Provide software support, basic troubleshooting, and escalate to application vendors when necessary.

General

• Support Project Team to meet project delivery milestones.
• Work with sub-contractors to ensure work quality & timely delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Able to travel out at sea along Singapore offshore.
• Able to perform standby duty and shift work.
• Able to climb Jacob Ladders.

Qualifications

• Possess 3 years of working experience in out-field operations, with at least 1 year relevant experience in the mobile network industry.
• Possess experience in commissioning / maintaining BTS equipment.
• Possess Class 3 driving license.

Good to have

• Experience in RF Testing for indoor or outdoor environments is an advantage.
• Experience working in a Network Operation Centre (NOC).
