Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to work with the Principal Investigator on cutting-edge projects integrating machine learning with chemical engineering and optimization.

The successful candidate will develop ML models and control systems, contributing to both theoretical development and practical applications in collaboration with a dynamic research team.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemical engineering, control engineering, computer science, or systems engineering.
• Strong math, modeling, programming, and scientific writing skills.
• Experience in dynamic/data-driven modeling with Aspen, COMSOL, or CFD.
• Experience or familiarity with TEA/LCA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the PI on research projects using machine learning in chemical and optimization problems.
• Develop machine learning models and control systems for both theory and applications.
