Job summary

Infineon Technologies’ DMR AI DSS team invites a student intern to contribute to backend machine learning, deep learning and data analytics initiatives. Under a dedicated mentor you will explore data analysis, build ML models for predictive tasks, and participate in Gen AI activities relevant to backend systems.

You will gain hands-on experience in backend data processing, collaborate with stakeholders in a production environment, and advance practical ML skills within a leading semiconductor

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, IT, Data Science, or Analytics.
Knowledge of ML and programming languages: R, Python.
Motivated to learn and pick up new knowledge/skills.
Preferred intake Jan 2027 - May 2027; able to commit a minimum of 5 months.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Perform statistical and exploratory data analysis.
Project Involvement: Be involved in backend data and analytics projects.
Model Development: Build data analysis and machine learning models for predictive analysis, image classification, Gen AI, and other tasks.
Technical Growth: Learn and employ new techniques and tools to support ML projects.
