Job summary

Billigence Pty Ltd is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and maintain web applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot and ReactJS, with emphasis on full-stack development.

You will implement RESTful APIs, leverage AWS services and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, write tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. The role is on-site in Singapore and requires current residence there.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with ReactJS for front-end development, building conversational UIs and chat interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure secure and scalable deployment of applications using AWS services and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure secure and scalable deployment of applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and product improvement.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proficient in Java with hands‑on experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong experience with ReactJS for front‑end development, building conversational UIs and chat interfaces. React Native experience is a plus.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
