About the role
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Exchange Server Support Engineer to join our team on a 1 Year Project renewable basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert‑level support and maintenance for our organisation's mission‑critical Microsoft Exchange Server infrastructure. The position is based in our Depot Road office in the Central Region and will involve a mix of on‑site and remote work. This role required Cat 2A security clearance thus you must be willing to wait for clearance to complete to onboard project.
Ideal candidate should possessed Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certified or Microsoft Certified or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification
What we offer

What you'll be doing
- Job Description – Messaging Teams
You will be part a team of highly motivated individuals in the development and maintenance of systems for our client. You should have proven track records in building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation. In addition, you should have superior Enterprise Windows Exchange and Active Directory Technical Operation skills in large multi sites data centres operations. If you thrive on being part of fast‑moving delivery team, then this is the position for you.
Your 'hands‑on' knowledge, vast exposure and wealth of experience within vendor and user environments, coupled with a driven and self‑motivated personality, will ensure your success.
- Responsibilities: Building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation
Manage the Enterprise Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environment to ensure integrity, performance, and accessibility of data
Ensure Enterprise Mail system & software hosting Identity & Access services fulfil requirements stated under the following processes:
Account and Access Management via GPO Policies
Backup Management
Change Management
Configuration Management
Incident Management
Log Management
Problem Management
Vulnerability and Patch Management
Inventory & Disposal Management
Assess & implement Service Requests
Assess & implement Change Requests
Provide subject matter knowledge and problem‑solving abilities
Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and platform maintenance activity
Documenting configurations, changes, issues and technical diagrams for supported systems
Day‑to‑day planning and activities including capacity planning and reviewing performance/statistic logs
Analyse, test, patch and implement changes of a broad scope, high complexity and long duration
Investigate and resolve complex and unusual problems
Measurement and optimization of system performance Capacity planning and management for Enterprise Email Systems
Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward and solve tomorrow’s problems not just today’s
Improve system monitoring and alerting to improve incident time to resolution while decreasing false positives
Improve system logging and benchmarking to fine tune application infrastructure and gain better insight into system issues and performance
Work with engineering and application development teams to improve system performance through environment upgrades and improvements
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience working in similar role in multiple sites data centres with at least 5,000 mailboxes
- Strong Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, Python
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical ideas to technical and non‑technical stakeholders is critical. Additionally, the ability to document support procedures will ensure that environments are properly maintained and supported
- Customer Support: Provide highest level of customer support and functionality in providing solutions to all technical issues associated with day‑to‑day responsibilities
- Leadership: Collaborative leadership is important to gather technical and business requirements and build plans that incorporate feedback
- Analytical: You will be required to project the impact of design decisions and weigh compromises in operational criteria to meet business objectives
- Problem Solving: to Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems for both software and hardware, assisting with the resolution of trouble tickets for all IT Systems supporting the facility
- Professional, adaptable and innovative with a focus on delivery
- Self‑motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility
- Experience with Design Thinking and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban
- Only Singapore citizen to apply due to the security clearance Cat 2A is needed in this role.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering and any Sciences disciplines
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certified or Microsoft Certified or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification
