Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Microbiologist for our client in the Medical Industry, located in the West (Tuas), easily accessible. You will perform and supervise microbiological testing, including sterility, bioburden, microbial count, endotoxin testing and environmental monitoring.

Entry level position with training provided. A Diploma in Life Science or Microbiology is required; related lab experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Life Science, Microbiology or related field.
• Experience in Micro Lab is a bonus.
• Entry level position with training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise microbiological testing, including sterility, bioburden, microbial count, particulate count, endotoxin testing and environmental monitoring.
• Supervise and train QC Technicians on laboratory procedures and microbiological testing.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and sterility assurance to prevent contamination.
• Investigate OOS results and environmental excursions, identify root causes and implement CAPA.
• Support equipment, test method, aseptic process and sterilisation validation.
• Review and maintain SOPs and quality documentation in compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, change controls, product registration and continuous QMS improvement.

Key Responsibilities for Assistant Microbiologist:
