MFG Technology-Mechanical Engineer role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, especially with alloys and composites used in oil and gas products, capable of withstanding high temperatures, high pressures, and corrosive environments. This role emphasizes designing manufacturing processes, testing, and improving mechanical components and assemblies to meet the highest quality and performance standards. The mechanical engineer should also have broad knowledge of sourcing, machining, 3D printing, and composite manufacturing to provide solutions for technical challenges.

Role and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing and Testing:
  • Oversee the manufacturing process of mechanical components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures for mechanical structures and components.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of mechanical devices to ensure reliability and performance under operating conditions.
Design and Development:
  • Assist in designing and developing new mechanical structures and components.
  • Use CAD software to produce detailed designs and technical drawings.
  • Work with the design team to optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability and performance.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all mechanical components meet company quality standards and industry regulations.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, troubleshooting processes, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and present technical reports on the performance and reliability of mechanical components.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with QMS requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on the assembly, testing, and maintenance of the products.
  • Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure the quality and availability of mechanical components.
Skills and Experiences:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in materials.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing and testing of mechanical components and systems.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and PDM) and other engineering tools.
