Job summary

UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION (SINGAPORE BRANCH) invites process engineers to join its leading semiconductor foundry. You will work on in-line SPC/defect tracking, address equipment abnormalities, and drive condition improvements to achieve higher yield and lower cost.

Responsibilities include managing productivity projects for new processes, establishing process parameters for equipment to ensure line stability, and evaluating new materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in semiconductor foundry process.
• Experience with 22/28 nm nodes is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and projects.
• Able to commit to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Day to day monitoring and ownership to address in-line SPC/defect/equipment abnormalities, and disposition.
• Manage productivity improvement projects, especially for new processes, using process-characteristic tools to improve conditions and technology.
• Establish process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment to ensure line stability.
