Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to schedule and conduct site visits, inspect ongoing works, and prepare progress reports. You will coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors to align execution with project plans.

The role involves reviewing drawings ( Detailed Design, IFC, Shop Drawings ), verifying material submissions, and assisting in project controls with the QS and cost team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from a recognized university.
• 1–2 years’ experience in mechanical services design (ACMV, Fire sprinkler, Fire alarm, Plumbing & Sanitary).
• Experience with combined services drawings is an added advantage.
• Familiar with local codes and standards; proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily technical site visits, inspections and progress reports.
• Coordinate and oversee main contractor and subcontractor project execution.
• Review and assess Mechanical Engineering drawings, submissions and invoices.
• Ensure works comply with contract requirements and assist project controls.
