Job summary

An established motor company in Singapore seeks a Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Senior Technician/Manager. This hands-on role involves maintaining the company's facilities and managing vendors for essential services. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in property maintenance, with strong knowledge of M&E systems. The position requires familiarity with workplace safety regulations and the ability to coordinate effectively with various contractors. Standby duties may be required after hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities/property maintenance.
• Exposure to renovation or fit-out projects, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Willing to be on standby for urgent support needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of essential building systems.
• Oversee vendor work related to maintenance and ensure quality completion.
• Assist in technical evaluation of potential new/rental facilities.

Skills

Knowledge of M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety)

Good coordination and vendor management skills

Self-driven and reliable

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Familiarity with workplace safety and building regulations in Singapore

Supervisory experience

Fluent in English

Education

Diploma/ITE or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering
