Professional Summary

Detail-oriented MEP Cost Engineer with [5] years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbering (MEP) cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial control in large-scale construction projects. Proficient in preparing tender documents, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Strong ability to coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project costs.

Professional Experience

Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.

  • Review design drawings and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ).
  • Assist in tender submissions and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare monthly cost reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure projects remain within budget.
