Overview

Function as a Medical Social Worker to provide bio-psychosocial assessment and intervention in management of patient care that meets standard of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end case management support and appropriate level of care through assessment, care planning, interventions and evaluation of care
• Assist in developing, conducting and facilitating group work sessions
• Community Work
  • Assist in implementing new and/or existing community support systems which bring about enhanced psychosocial well-being of the community.
• Program Development and Implementation
• Provide educational/clinical supervision
  • Provide guidance, training and co-supervision to interns and fresh MSWs in their standards of practice delivery.
  • Deliver education to patients/public
• Engage in research
• To apply social work ethics and values
