Job summary

MOH Holdings PTE LTD is seeking Medical Officers who are conditionally or fully registered doctors to join our team. You will manage all patients under your care, participate in daily ward rounds, and support supervised House Officers.

Responsibilities include ordering and reviewing investigations, performing procedures, communicating with patients and families, obtaining informed consent, and contributing to outpatient clinics and medical reports.

Qualifications

• Graduation from one of the medical schools recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.
• Completion of housemanship.
• High standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for all patients under supervision and ward rounds.
• Order and review investigations and treatments.
• Assist in procedures and interventions as needed.
• Communicate with patients, relatives and colleagues.
• Obtain informed consent for major procedures.
• Supervise House Officers in the team.
• Review new cases and perform emergency treatment.
• Update and complete patient records.
• Assist in Specialist Outpatient Clinics
• Counsel patients discharging against medical advice
• Write medical reports and sign death certificates
• Participate in departmental training and meetings

JOB DESCRIPTION

Medical Officers are conditionally or fully registered doctors

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Management of all patients under their care, including but not limited to:
   • Active involvement in daily ward rounds
   • Ordering and reviewing of investigations and treatment
   • Performing and/or assisting in procedures and interventions
   • Communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues
   • Obtaining informed consent for major procedures
2. Assisting and supervising House Officers in their team
3. Reviewing and/or clerking all new cases in their assigned wards/teams and performing emergency treatment
4. Updating and completing case records of all patients under their care
5. Assist in the running of Specialist Outpatient Clinics
6. Counselling patients who wish to be discharged against medical advice
7. Writing medical reports and signing death certificates
8. Participating in department training activities and meetings
