Job summary

RN Care Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Cytogenetic Technologist to perform specimen processing, culture, and cytogenetic assays including karyotyping and FISH. You will maintain meticulous QC records and ensure accurate documentation in LIS/LIMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen processing, cell culture, harvesting, slide preparation, chromosome banding and staining for cytogenetic investigations.
• Conduct karyotyping and chromosome analysis to identify numerical and structural chromosomal abnormalities.
• Perform FISH testing, including probe preparation, hybridisation, fluorescence microscopy and signal interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation, QC records and laboratory results in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot cytogenetics equipment, laboratory instruments and relevant LIS/LIMS systems.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality assurance, accreditation requirements and effective communication with pathologists and clinical teams.
