How you’ll make an impact:
  • Perform all routine and non‑routine work orders, including on‑call and weekend assignments focusing on complex employee moves, office set‑ups and changes for meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring high customer satisfaction while adhering to company standards.
  • Conduct general repairs and maintenance in carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical systems within plant or office facilities, with ability to execute complex repairs across multiple specialties.
  • Carry out routine, periodic or special inspections as required by the validated electronic PM system, troubleshoot and diagnose controls and system failures, and repair to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust building automation systems to optimise efficiency and energy savings, referencing internal quality documents and procedures for compliance; collaborate with Quality to devise and implement corrective actions and exception work orders.
  • Inspect and report issues within interior and exterior spaces, including landscape.
  • Perform daily facilities preventive maintenance, including environmental support systems, to ensure operations remain within specifications.
  • Obtain quotes and initiate purchase requests for maintenance and renovation work, discussing with contractors, vendors or consultants for minor projects.
  • Conduct predictive maintenance inspections of critical facilities systems to detect abnormalities and prevent premature system failures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies.
  • Analyze predictive inspection data of critical facilities systems to determine maintenance actions and prevent premature system breakdown.
  • Review and analyse unplanned maintenance incidents for root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and review equipment to determine spare parts lists.
  • Train, coach and guide lower‑level employees.
  • May oversee and advise contractors (e.g., electricians) in general maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor security of facilities and grounds, including cameras, doors and badge access.
  • Act as primary contact in management absence.
  • Handle other incidental duties.

  • Knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, electrical systems and compressed air systems is advantageous.
