Medical Affairs (Cardio Admin), Senior Exec/Asst Manager, 1-yr contract

You will assist the Head of Cardiology and work in partnership with stakeholders to support research initiatives and quality improvement activities to achieve department key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Support in managing the operational and administrative functions of the department, review to improve work processes to optimise use of resources where necessary
  • Provide secretarial support to research and quality improvement related committees and meetings
  • Assist with the extraction and generation of research data reports for research studies as well as coordination of data requests submissions to external data registries
  • In charge of REDCap for research projects as well as the set up and design of REDCap projects and databases
  • To assist and guide researchers on the proper conduct of research, including applicable legislations, regulations and policies. To act as the liaison between the department and the regulatory authorities
  • Coordinate Project Planning and Scheduling are created with clear timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Keep the research community updated of available grant opportunities. Coordinate and facilitate the submissions of research grant applications to external funding agencies
  • Collate research performance indicators and assist to prepare reports
  • Undertake any projects / assignments as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Good knowledge of hospital operations
  • Good interpersonal skill and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good team player, an independent worker
