Medical Affairs (Cardio Admin), Senior Exec/Asst Manager, 1-yr contract
You will assist the Head of Cardiology and work in partnership with stakeholders to support research initiatives and quality improvement activities to achieve department key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Support in managing the operational and administrative functions of the department, review to improve work processes to optimise use of resources where necessary
- Provide secretarial support to research and quality improvement related committees and meetings
- Assist with the extraction and generation of research data reports for research studies as well as coordination of data requests submissions to external data registries
- In charge of REDCap for research projects as well as the set up and design of REDCap projects and databases
- To assist and guide researchers on the proper conduct of research, including applicable legislations, regulations and policies. To act as the liaison between the department and the regulatory authorities
- Coordinate Project Planning and Scheduling are created with clear timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Keep the research community updated of available grant opportunities. Coordinate and facilitate the submissions of research grant applications to external funding agencies
- Collate research performance indicators and assist to prepare reports
- Undertake any projects / assignments as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Good knowledge of hospital operations
- Good interpersonal skill and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good team player, an independent worker
