Job summary

NTS Singapore is seeking a QA Lead in Mechatronics to drive quality excellence across the business. You will lead the QMS, manage customer quality performance, and develop a high-performing team of Quality Engineers and QA/QC Inspectors.

You will be the primary quality contact for customers, handling escalations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA to ensure robust quality across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years quality engineering/management in mechatronics/precision environments; strong production experience.
• 3+ years leading Quality Engineers/teams with proven development track record.
• Strong experience in customer quality, audits, escalations, corrective actions.
• Excellent understanding of mechatronic systems and manufacturing processes.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, and quality methodologies (8D, 5 Why, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Experience with CAPA, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QMS and drive quality excellence across the Mechatronics business.
• Act as primary quality interface for key customers and manage escalations.
• Develop and coach a team of Quality Engineers and QA/QC Inspectors.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, and timely corrective actions.
• Drive CAPA effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee internal and external audits and support NPI/QMS readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve process capability.
