A leading producer in the chemical industry is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for their Jurong Island facility. The role involves coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in chemical plant maintenance. Coordinate Maintenance: Plan and schedule daily maintenance tasks, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution.
Troubleshoot Equipment: Investigate and resolve faults, supporting both corrective and preventive actions to maintain reliable operations.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with contractors for day-to-day services and major shutdown maintenance activities.
Plan Maintenance: Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
Support Procurement: Monitor spare parts inventory and assist with purchase requests for tools and spare parts.
Ensure Compliance: Complete documentation and ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.
Promote Safety: Uphold EHS policies and contribute to minimizing Major Accident Hazards.
Mechanical Expertise: At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years hands‑on experience in chemical plant maintenance.
Industry experience: Bring at least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer in a chemical plant environment.
Technical expertise: Possess hands‑on troubleshooting experience with chemical plant equipment and a solid understanding of maintenance technology.
Process knowledge: Demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical equipment and manufacturing processes in the chemical industry.
Collaborative spirit: Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude towards driving work progress.
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 5:15pm (OT is expected)
Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport pick up at Jurong East MRT)
