RAMO INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to plan, supervise, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment used in precast concrete production.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, supervise, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment used in precast concrete production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot precast production machinery including batching plants, mixers, conveyors, moulding systems, lifting equipment, pumps, compressors, and hydraulics.
• Diagnose breakdowns and determine root causes to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and production equipment.
• Inspect bearings, gears, chains, belts, shafts, couplings, hydraulic cylinders, valves, and pumps.
• Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure safety and no production disruption.
• Supervise mechanical repair, installation, alignment, dismantling, and commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, PMs, spare parts, and maintenance history.
• Manage inventory of critical mechanical spare parts, tools, lubricants, and consumables.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for major repairs and servicing.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant from a recognized University.
• Minimum 10 years' of relevant mechanical maintenance experience in largescale building / civil projects with main contractor in Civil Construction Projects, Precast Concrete projects in Construction environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit or BIM software.
• Experience with concrete batching plants, mixers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors, moulding equipment, and lifting systems will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Job Description:

• Plan, supervise, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment used in precast concrete production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot precast production machinery, including concrete batching plants, mixers, conveyors, moulding systems, lifting equipment, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and identify the root cause of equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and production equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components such as bearings, gears, chains, belts, shafts, couplings, hydraulic cylinders, valves, and pumps.
• Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely without affecting production schedules.
• Monitor the condition and performance of machinery and recommend repair, replacement, or upgrading of equipment when required.
• Supervise mechanical repair, installation, alignment, dismantling, and commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain proper records of equipment breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and maintenance history.
• Manage inventory of critical mechanical spare parts, tools, lubricants, and maintenance consumables.
• Coordinate with external contractors and equipment suppliers for major repairs, servicing, and technical support.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in precast production machinery.
• Carry out equipment inspections and ensure machinery is operating according to manufacturer specifications.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and production lines.
• Review equipment manuals, technical drawings, maintenance procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company WSH, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential safety hazards and mechanical defects.
• Prepare maintenance reports and provide regular updates to management on equipment condition, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
• Train and guide technicians and maintenance workers on proper operation, inspection, and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities during planned production shutdowns and ensure equipment is returned to service safely.
• Support investigations into recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Safety, and Project teams to maintain uninterrupted precast production.
• Perform any other mechanical maintenance and engineering duties assigned by management.
