  • Experienced in Brown field maintenance and constructions.

Job Role

Responsible for planning and executing critical static mechanical maintenance activities (PCRs, PIT/PIMS, catalyst changes, RIK). Provides frontline engineering support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, while assisting the Maintenance Team Lead to maximize plant availability and resource utilization.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver all assigned activities in a cost-effective, safe and efficient manner through contractors.
  • Lead contractors in field activities with high safety standards; ensure all field activities comply with authorities, industrial and company HSE standards and requirements.
  • Organize and chair JHA meetings to ensure hazards are identified and mitigated for all assigned activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, coordinate reviews and schedule optimizations, resource leveling etc. and prompt updates to the work plan.
  • Influence non-subordinate stakeholders without authority to deliver maintenance performance.
  • Identify waste elimination and optimize maintenance opportunities for RM, and work with relevant key stakeholders to implement gap closure plans.
  • Interface with the Pipeline Integrity team for OTR execution, end to end execution.
  • Plan and execute will include the Mechanical CAIR items for OTR execution.
  • Coordinate & execute related SIP activities emerging from PIT/PIMS.
  • Develop feasible rectification solutions to maintain piping integrity and ensure timely execution.
  • Drive team members (SIP contractors, NDT contractors) to adhere to execution schedules.
  • Conduct site inspections and explain work requirements to contractors; develop work plans with contractors, operations, and other stakeholders for execution with minimum interruption to operating plant and ensure field work sequences are aligned.
  • Able to coordinate with multi-disciplines during field execution.
  • Drive contractors management to deliver productivity improvements, contractor competency & assurance, including developing relevant work procedures and QA/QC.
  • Coordinate with third parties, including vendors and specialist contractors as required in the course of work.
  • Verify personnel records and work procedures applicable for the job.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly works & field progress reports. Support computation and calculation of progress measurement, monitor work progress and provide schedule catch-up plans where required.
  • Perform standby engineer duties for AJI.
  • Perform as Authorize Applicant and/or Authorized Engineer as per AJI Permit to Work (PTW) requirement.
  • Organize Mechanical Completion review for handover to Projects.
  • Carry out any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical/Piping construction in oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical industry.
  • Qualified MOM Lifting Supervisor (Preferred)
  • Qualified MOM manhole and confined space entrant (Preferred)
  • Skilled in Painting, Insulation and Scaffolding
  • Experienced in Brown field maintenance/constructions including administration, HSSE and detailed field technical work methods.
  • Experience in Plant Turnaround detail planning, preparation and field execution.
  • Skilled in construction HSSE, field maintenance and construction planning, mechanical piping design, scaffold, insulation and painting planning, preparation and field execution
