About Our Client

Job Description
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely responses to service requests and operational inquiries.
  • Attend to urgent and emergency situations when required (24/7 support preparedness).
  • Prepare and present monthly operational performance reports.
  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of critical mechanical systems to ensure continuous uptime and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental management standards on site.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to plan and execute annual and periodic preventive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility, equipment, and site conditions to identify risks or faults.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and propose solutions or upgrades to improve efficiency and resilience.
  • Manage procurement of parts, materials, and services required for maintenance works.
  • Coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors, ensuring work is delivered to required specifications and standards.
  • Review equipment lifecycle status and recommend replacement or upgrade actions for End-of-Life (EOL) components.
  • Develop, review, and maintain all operating documentation (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and APs), ensuring alignment to current operational standards.
The Successful Applicant
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Data Center projects/ Facility operation work, with supervisory exposure.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and control systems such as: Chilled water plant systems, AHUs, BMS, fuel systems, VFDs, fire detection/suppression systems (e.g., pre-action sprinklers).
  • Hands-on experience with complex control logic, relay systems, PLCs, and building automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing large-scale cooling infrastructure including chillers, storage/distribution pipework, cooling towers, and chemical treatment systems.
